A food bank in the North-West of Glasgow has fed the cities hungriest after a successful social media campaign.
They appealed on twitter last night after fears those who require food parcels would not receive the essentials.
However, after generous donations from the public the food bank, ran by The Trussell Trust, will be stocked for a few more days.
The desperate need for donations comes after an increase of demand and a decrease in donations. Demand has increased after the recent closure of a private food bank near by.
The Caledonian Spectator visited the Food Bank and interviewed volunteer Kyle McCormack. He says there’s not enough food being donated. Visit our Facebook page to find out more.
